Bespoke Christmas Gifts are “in”
If you have someone in your life that is difficult to buy for, then personalized or “bespoke” gifts are a great idea. Maybe they are difficult to shop for because they have everything under the sun or maybe they are not a “stuff” kind of person when it comes to gifts. Whatever the case, doing a personalized DIY gift is often a great way to tailor the items exactly to what they are interested in. The fact that the gifts were created by you creates a wonderful personal touch to it as well.
One of the simplest ways to do this is with some DIY Christmas Jars, and we have 10 ideas for all the people in your life. These are all shelf stable and can last for months on the panty shelf, but we doubt they will last that long in your home or in the lucky gift recipient! To help make it even more unique, we have also included a link below so you can print your own labels for the jars. This includes ingredients, festive pictures, and most importantly DIRECTIONS for how to use the jars! Here’s a list of all the jars you can choose to make with ingredients. Fire Cider

Citrus Cranberry Potpourri

Rosemary Salt

French Onion Soup

Buttermilk Biscuits

Homemade Cornbread

Bone Broth

Chicken Feed

Apple Spice Potpourri

Brisket & Rib Rub

Check out our video below for how to make all of these DIY Christmas Jars. For obvious reasons, we didn’t include the wet ingredients in the jar recipes in the videos, and we encourage you to make sure that you fully dehydrate any items you put in here if you’re doing homegrown goods. Store purchased items and freeze dried ingredients are super shelf stable, but any home dehydrated ones really need to be ultra low moisture. For the same reason we aren’t including the wet ingredients in our video recipes, you need the homegrown versions to be moisture free so they don’t grow bacteria or mold! That’s one of the reasons we love our freeze dryer so much. The food preserved with a freeze dryer has a shelf life of YEARS, so it’s something to consider.
